blows my mind that women are considered shrill and whiny when all i have to do is insinuate that male feelings are not my #1 priority at all times and every indignant male in a 500 mile radius comes out of the woodwork to let me know how they feel
something i just read on my dash reminded me about how uncomfortable i feel around people who say stuff like “omg that’s so sexy” after hearing someone speak another language
certainly there are ways of speaking in any language that can be sexually suggestive or even arousing but that’s not what’s happening if im on the phone with my hungarian godmother asking about her latest biopsy, go sit on a cactus if you think that’s sexy
has anyone drawn the comic where famous swimmer rin invites all his old iwatobi+samezuka buddies (plus gou and her girlfriend) to australia, and they lose kisumi at some crowded event (he saw something shiny and wandered away), and as a result we have a bunch of 20something attractive people running around idk sydney screaming “KISUMI! KISUMI!!?”
- tumblr: using human uteri in feminist messaging is an act of violence against people on the trans spectrum
- tumblr: 10000 notes! ALL THE AWARDS! so progressive. uwu!
- us lawmakers: legislate against humans with uteri 400+ times in 2013 alone
- us lawmakers: legislate against humans with no uteri 0 times in same time period
- tumblr: such an unfortunate circumstance :) but please don't forget whats truly important is everyone feeling included :) hearts not parts :)
and just to be clear: i would never shame a woman for wearing make up. I would never shame a woman for feeling insecure and feeling the need to wear make up for that reason and i would never shame a woman for wearing make up because she likes how it looks.
what im saying is that make up is a socialized behavior, not a natural one, and women who refuse to do that behavior are punished by society. We cant go around saying “make up is harmless!!” when women who dont wear it are punished and when men are making billions of dollars off of making women feel bad about themselves. We cant say “make up is harmless!!” because its not. It might not harm you specifically, but make up in its self, the industry and the idea that women MUST wear it, is very harmful.
I’ve been reading cracked.com since high school because their website is very entertaining & funny. But I just stumbled across this article "5 Things I Learned as A Sex Slave In Modern America" and my heart is absolutely torn.
Reminder: If you consume porn, you support sex slavery
